In Malin Head, Ireland´s most northerly point, the elements of nature are intensely tangible. The waves of the Atlantic Ocean are breaking on a rugged coast. Life is ruled by the rhythm of the tides, the wind and the rain. But times are changing. Three men share their personal thoughts of the past and their perspectives on the future. À Malin Head, le lieu le plus septentrional de l’Irlande, les éléments de la nature se font ressentir avec intensité. Des vagues s’écrasent contre la côte atlantique rocheuse, la vie est marquée par le rythme des marées, du vent et de l’eau. Trois hommes irlandais sont en lien étroit avec la mer et la terre. Cependant, les éléments ne semblent pas évoluer en leur faveur sur le long terme.

In Malin Head, dem nördlichsten Ort Irlands, sind die Elemente der Natur intensiv erlebbar. Die Wellen des Atlantischen Ozeans krachen an die felsige Küste, das Leben ist vom Rhythmus der Gezeiten, des Windes und des Wassers gezeichnet.
Ein Fischer, ein Landwirt und Meteorologe erzählen in knapper und eindringlicher Weise von ihren Beobachtungen. Durch ihren Beruf sind sie mit den Wetterbedingungen eng verbunden und bekommen die sich ändernden Klimaverhältnisse auf dem Meer und an Land als erste zu spüren.
